Book an Owl and Raptor Afternoon.

This afternoon is tailored for the bird of prey lover, and owl lover and will give you the rare opportunity to spend the daylight hours with these elusive birds of prey. Huxley’s has a wonderful selection of different owl species, from the tiny to the large and almost everything in between. During the afternoon you learn all about how owls hunt, fly and their habitats as well as getting the opportunity to get up close and personal with our friendliest residents! Later in the afternoon you will get the chance to spend time on the lawn flying these beautiful creatures.

This also gives you the chance to fly a range of birds during our display and learn about all the birds we have here at the centre, with the chance to get close to eagles, buzzards, hawks and falcons!

DAYS ITINERARY

Arrive by 12:30pm and fly and handle birds at the centre

2:30pm finish

MAXIMUM 2 PEOPLE on the day.

Fee is per person.

**CHILDREN UNDER 18 WILL NEED TO BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT. ONE ADULT WILL BE ALLOWED TO SUPERVISE FOR FREE, ANY ADDITIONAL PEOPLE WILL NEED TO PAY NORMAL ADMISSION FOR THE CENTRE, THIS APPLIES ONLY WHEN THE CENTRE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, IN THE WINTER ON A DAY WE ARE CLOSED SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED.**
