Meet The Team
LUKE (DIRECTOR)
Luke started off as a volunteer here back on 1st April 2002 when he was 15 years old. His passion for the birds quickly grew. Luke has had his own birds throughout the years and has worked in numerous zoos in the UK. Since returning back to Huxley’s full time, he has been able to use his knowledge gained from working within the industry to help bring Huxley’s forward and give it a fresh new look and feel. Since 2021 we have made significant changes through the ideas brought forward by Luke and his team and we are continuing to make more.
FUN FACT
Luke works within the entertainment industry as a Drag Queen.
Hannah (Operations Manager)
Hannah worked with Bocketts Farm for over 13 years, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in education and farm management. If it moos, bleats, oinks or (occasionally) bites — Hannah has probably had a conversation with it, named it, and cleaned up after it.
FUN FACT
Hannah's favourite Bird is a Vulture. Her favourite mode of transport is a Tractor which makes getting to work no easy task.
Andy (Collection Manager)
Andy has an extensive range of knowledge and experience working with Birds of Prey. Originating from Devon he took the plunge to move East for a busier life......Something i think he's now regretting.
